Built in Wanchese, NC in 2018 the Blue Eagle is a state-of-the-art 70’ Spencer Yacht based out of Los Sueños, Costa Rica. Everett Nautical Designs handpainted the name on this vessel featuring; custom airbrushed Texas state graphic, bevel style letters in 24k yellow gold leaf with a hard drop shadow.
In addition to the name design and application, Everett Nautical also painted faux teak wood on the majority of the vessels' features including the transom, toe rail, cabin molding, bulkhead and salon door. Residing in tropical Costa Rica throughout most of the year, the faux wood and final clear coat on the Blue Eagle has superior UV protection from the intense sunlight and does not require the constant upkeep that real teak wood does, making it more financially viable in the long run.
